FIFA 22: the football simulator shows the first gameplay and details its improvements for the new generation of consoles
One more year, we are waiting for all the news of the new installment of the Electronic Arts franchise. FIFA 22 is scheduled to launch on October 1, 2021 for all platforms and now we have been able to take a look at the first gameplay of the game.
As we already know, the great addition on this occasion will be the HyperMotion technology , a system of the Frostbite graphics engine. It will be exclusive to the new generation of consoles , that is, PS5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Therefore, both PC, PS4 and Xbox One are left out of the equation . Also, let’s remember that on Nintendo Switch this year there will only be a template update.
With the “death” of Konami’s PES, another serious rival for FIFA is now more urgent than ever
Among the aspects that have been detailed, we find the following:
- Authentic movement of the whole team.
- Machine learning flow.
- Tactical AI.
- Kinetic air disputes.
- Improved ball control.
- Player humanization.
All this has been possible thanks to the motion capture that has been made to great players. Teams such as Liverpool, PSG or Real Madrid have loaned members of their squads to recreate their skills with the ball.
Animations that are generated in real time, better offensive and defensive systems, improved aerial disputes or more fluid control of the ball . All of this can be enjoyed together with the FIFA Ultimate Team Heroes , who have announced their new batch of players.
