GTA V: Mods that you cannot miss

Rockstar has a curious relationship of love – hate relationship with mods for GTA V , which seems to have settled in favor of the interests of the community over the months. Nowadays, you can install and play mods for single player mode, but be careful not to use them when entering GTA Online or you may get a ban. Regarding the private environment, yes, in 3DJuegos we usually echo some of the most spectacular mods of the title … and in this guide we collect some of the best.

GTA V looks impressive on its own, and on the most powerful PCs it is capable of wowing more than one. However, if you think there is still room for improvement, NaturalVision Remastered is for you. The Razed mod has been behind over 1,200 hours of work, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to stop updating anytime soon. It does not greatly affect the usual performance of the program, and includes some customizable extras.

Raven Rock (Military Island)

One of the best things about mods is that they allow you to add huge cool stuff without going through the box. User Sanghelios has added an entirely new explorable island, dubbed Raven Rock, to the map of Los Santos. It is a military camp to which you are not invited, so it is up to you to infiltrate and clean it up as best you can for the trio of scoundrels from GTA 5.

Even though GTA does take on stealing vehicles by flag, sometimes you wish you could get into any vehicle without attracting anyone’s attention. The Simple Passenger mod, by Rooft0p, is a script that allows you to do just that: get into any vehicle in the peaceful passenger condition. You can let the NPC on duty take us where they are, or put a waypoint on the map to take us there. And if you want to drive yourself, you can change seats with the simplicity of a button.

Mobile Radio

This script, developed by LaikeGlove, allows you to listen to the same radio that you can hear in the car, while you are on foot. Actually, there are some pieces that are worth keeping even on these trips.

LSPDFR

The kilometric acronyms of this mod hide a huge level of veterancy, and since GTA IV, the LSPDFR team has been inviting us to do just the opposite of what we hope to do when we buy a Grand Theft Auto: help keep the peace in the city. The mod allows us to play as a policeman, with unique activities such as calling reinforcements or fighting crime.

GTA V FoV

Upon entering the graphics settings panel, we find that GTA V is restricted to field of vision limits that sometimes seem scarce for the most demanding players: 55 degrees vertically by 85 horizontally. This script, created by DrDaxxy, allows us to expand the field of view beyond these limits. However, we must bear in mind that the performance of the program may suffer if we set figures that are too high for our graphics card.

One of the most storied mods behind GTA 5 is the ENT, an internal console developed by a diverse team of modders that allows you to take control over some aspects of the game’s code and toggle the behavior of numerous physics and rules, as well as of the characters, weapons and vehicles that appear on the screen. Do you want to leave a whale in the middle of the street and jump on it without gravity? Done.
