Back 4 Blood finishes its development just in time for the free launch of its open beta

What’s new from the creators of Left 4 Dead hits stores October 12 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

In Turtle Rock Studios are double congratulations this week. On the one hand, the results of its early access beta augur a huge launch success for Back 4 Blood , and on the other, the Lake Forest team has announced on social media that the main development phase of the game has now finished.

“We are not seeing anything red, today everything is dyed gold”, they celebrate from Turtle Rock Studios with an image that announces that “Back 4 Blood is Gold”. This puts an end to a production officially presented to the public in March 2019, although it did not share its first trailer until last year’s The Game Awards.

The announcement comes just in time for the premiere of the open beta of the cooperative shooter this afternoon, at 9:00 p.m. (Spanish peninsular time) / 2:00 p.m. (CDMX time). It will run until this Sunday and will allow all who wish to live an intense free multiplayer experience on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One, either through its Horde mode or its Cooperative mode, both with two maps available.

B4B will be available in stores on October 12, and if you are interested in knowing what we think in 3DJuegos about the production you can consult these impressions with Back 4 Blood by colleague Mario Gómez, where he highlighted its potential to become a worthy successor to Left 4 Dead and hook the gamer from PC and consoles.

However, from Turtle Rock Studios they seek something more than to be a spiritual heir to the survival-horror classic that they created under Valve’s edition. We remember that you can join Xbox Game Pass by paying only one euro for the first month to access a library where Back 4 Blood will be launched.
