Late last month we were able to witness the arrival of the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro, which are establishing themselves as the spearhead of Huawei’s mobile lineup. However, we know based on the company’s launch schedule that there are still surprises to be known; specifically the Huawei Mate 50 and Huawei Mate 50 Pro , of which we know virtually nothing, except for a detail that we will talk about this time. 

As you may know, the P50 and its big brother, the P50 Pro, reach a charging power of 66W which, while surprising and considerably fast, is not the crème de la crème. Recall that the once brand under the mantle of Huawei, Honor (now independent), presented the Honor 50 Pro with 100W fast charge in June; enough to recharge the terminal in just 25 minutes. 

With that said, it is a matter of it being Huawei’s turn to do the same , and we do not say it for saying it, since there is already evidence that the brand works on it, and do you know which is the perfect candidate to release this feature? ? Indeed, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro. 

Huawei Mate 50 Pro with 100W fast charge : Huawei Mate 50 Pro, a flagship is on the horizon with a 100W load 

The evidence for these claims is that Huawei recently approved a new charger with the China Compulsory Certification (CCC), which meets the same criteria as the charger used by Honor; which supports fast charging from 20V / 5A up to 100W . 

The code of the model in question is  HW-200500C00 , and if we decide to believe the predictions of the Internet, then it will be shipped with the Huawei Mate 50 Pro packaging. 

The rest we do not know anything concrete about the Huawei Mate 50 Pro , although the phone is expected to have the next Kirin 9020 ; which would be the world’s first SoC with 3nm lithography. 

And when will we see the Mate 50? Well again, there is no specific date. It is speculated that they will reach the market by the end of 2021, but in view of the delay of the P50, there is a possibility that the launch window will be moved.
