Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order continues in EA’s plans: they will invest more in the saga after its success
The company promises to “continue to invest” in Star Wars games in the wake of Respawn’s success
During a recent shareholder chat, EA discussed the success of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order . The CEO of the company, Andrew Wilson , mentioned that EA intends to “continue investing” in the franchise that has started this title.
Respawn is working on a new Star Wars game.Wilson also talked about the release of Fallen Order on PS5 and Xbox Series X , which helped a lot to give the title a second boost. The game was a commercial success , showing that people are still looking for single player experiences.
Although Wilson’s words are not a direct confirmation of a sequel, they are the closest thing to an official announcement. And thanks to a call for workers posted by Respawn Entertainment , the studio that developed Fallen order, we know there’s a new Star Wars title on the way.
However, it will probably be a long time before I know more, considering that Respawn is also working on a new project , which will be set in a “unique universe”, and will again be a single player adventure .
