Tales of Arise will be as long as Berseria and its plot ends there: it will have no story DLC or sequels

“The whole story is in the base game. I guarantee it,” says Bandai Namco producer.

Tales of Arise is long overdue, but fans of Bandai Namco’s JRPG saga will finally get their long-awaited dose of new adventures this September. The Japanese company has taken advantage of the last months to present the different characteristics of the title, either with a video of its combat system or with this Tales of Arise gameplay on the new generation of consoles. And now, in a question and answer session with fans, producer Yusuke Tomizawa offers several very interesting details about the history and duration of the game.

 

As we already mentioned in this other news about the game, the developer promises that Tales of Arise will be as long as Tales of Berseria . “Needless to say, it will depend on your style of play,” adds Tomizawa, transcribed by DualShockers. “Of course, the game will have a lot of additional content and there will be replayability for second rounds.” Although the most interesting of all is related to the story of Tales of Arise.

” We have no plans to tie it into another game and it will be self-contained.
