LG Q52, a mid-range with 4 cameras that is very familiar to us
LG has just renewed one of its mid-range lines with the presentation of the “new” LG Q52, which is actually the same LG K52, but intended exclusively for the Asian market; without a doubt it is something a bit confusing due to the nomenclature that the company has decided to use in recent years. That aside, the LG Q52 is a mid-range competitor equipped with a quad rear camera, a large 6.6-inch screen, and a respectable 4,000mAh battery .
LG Q52: LG Q52, a mid-range with 4 cameras that is very familiar to us
The LG Q52 is characterized by its 6.6-inch screen with perforation and HD + resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels , which seems a bit low considering the price tag that the terminal has.
On the back we do not find a fingerprint reader, since it has been moved to the right edge to share its space with the start button. What we will find here is a square photo module that houses 4 cameras and a dual LED flash .
Interestingly, the volume buttons are located on the left edge, and as is LG tradition, it also has a dedicated button for the Google assistant and has MIL-STD 810G military grade certification .
Hardware and Features
The engine that powers the LG Q52 is a MediaTek Helio P35 with eight 2.3Ghz cores and PowerVR GE8320 GPU , nothing extraordinary for the price. Accompanying the chip we will get 4GB of RAM and also 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable via Micro-SD up to 1TB. The battery that powers the smartphone has a capacity of 4,000mAh and, apparently, it lacks fast charging.
The operating system is Android 10 along with LG’s custom interface, and the wireless connectivity options of the device do not depart from the usual mid-range, with the only exception being the presence of NFC for electronic contactless payments.
Finally, the LG Q52 incorporates a 4-camera system on the rear, and the sensor that leads the whole has a resolution of 48MP . Supporting it is a 5MP wide-angle lens with a 115 ° field of view, a 2MP macro camera, and lastly a 2MP depth sensor. For its part, the front camera mounts a 13MP sensor .
Availability and price
The LG Q52 will be available in South Korea starting at a price of 330.00 won, which would be 245 euros in exchange . However, it will most likely be sold as the LG K52 in Europe and other markets.
