During last February, the number 1 manufacturer in China presented the  Huawei P40 Lite , which turned out to be a Nova 6 SE with a rebrand and that we assume was the most economical option of Huawei’s P40 series. However, it turned out that we were wrong, given that a new device called Huawei P40 Lite E is on its way to Europe, or at least to Poland, where it was spotted on Huawei’s official website for that country, so it does not know if it will end. reaching the rest of the continent.  

It is also worth mentioning that the Huawei P40 Lite E is not entirely a surprise, since, although it was unexpected, it is actually the Huawei Y7p launched in  Thailand ,  but with a name change. Either way, we’re here to get your details and specs, so let’s get started.

At the design level, the Huawei P40 Lite E is identical to the aforementioned Y7P, featuring a 6.39-inch IPS LCD screen with HD + resolution and a punch- hole camera  in the upper left corner. The terminal has a back cover with a distinctive line that runs along the inner contour of the cover. Here you can see a triple camera with LED flash aligned vertically, and in the center is a fingerprint reader. 

The device is available in two color presentations: midnight black and aurora blue, the latter option exhibiting a gradient effect.

The Huawei P40 Lite E is powered by the   Kirin 710F SoC paired with 4GB of RAM . It runs EMUI 9.1 based on Android Pie out of the box and comes with 64GB of onboard storage. There is also a microSD card slot, which allows for internal storage expansion up to a limit of 512GB. In terms of battery, it has a capacity of 4,000mAh and offers a standard 10-watt charge through its Micro-USB port. 

As would be expected from the new Huawei devices, this smartphone lacks Google services and applications , being forced to replace them with the  AppGallery  and Huawei Mobile  Services . 

As far as its connectivity options go, the Huawei P40 Lite E is an LTE phone and supports  2.4GHz b / g / n Wi- Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack  . 

Cameras 

On the back, there is a triple camera with a 48MP main module (f / 1.8 aperture), plus an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the other hand, the front camera embedded in the screen has a resolution of 8MP. 

Availability and price of the Huawei P40 Lite E 

It is not known for sure if the P40 Lite E will go on sale in other European countries, but at least we are sure that it costs 162 euros in Poland when we do the currency conversion.
