Vivo continues to swell its ranks of 5G smartphones with the launch of a new device aimed at the mid-range, the Vivo Z6 5G . This smartphone brings many attractive features to the table, all for a price that is theoretically only 300 euros. Next, we will get to know it in greater detail.

At the design level it does not impress us, but that does not mean that it is wrong, since its construction is everything we could expect from a mid-range-premium device in the middle of 2020. Going into details, its structure revolves around a 6.57-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels . The panel has quite small bezels and has a typical punch  hole  or perforation in the upper right corner. 

The terminal has a fingerprint reader on the back cover and exhibits dimensions of 163.99 x 75.71 x 9.16mm along with a weight of 201 grams. Color presentations include: black, blue, and silver. 

Hardware and Features 

The Vivo Z6 5G is another of those terminals equipped with the Snapdragon 765G , the only mid-range 5G chip, which gives it connectivity with the SA and NSA bands. The chip is accompanied by 6GB or 8GB of RAM memory along with 128GB of internal storage and is powered by a generous 5,000mAh battery , which supports 44W fast charging, promising to recover 70% of the capacity in just 35 minutes ( charging from 0% to 100% will take 65 minutes in total). 

Additionally, Vivo promises “PC grade” liquid cooling that uses a liquid-cooled 85mm heat dissipation tube with a core temperature of 10 degrees Celsius. In addition, the system has a multi-layer graphite heat sink with a total area of ​​more than 10,000 mm². Simply put, it should stay relatively cool even when it comes to demanding tasks and hours of gaming. 

The operating system that comes on board is  Funtouch OS10 , the user interface customized by Vivo and based on Android 10. In terms of wireless connectivity there are:  Wi-Fi 5, NFC, Bluetooth 5, Dual GPS and of course, 5G SA / NSA.

On the rear deck it has a bulky rectangular module that houses four cameras. As its primary sensor, it uses a 48MP lens with f / 1.79 aperture , which is supported by an 8MP ultra-wide secondary sensor (112-degree field of view), as well as a 2MP macro camera and a depth sensor. 2MP. For its part, the front camera is 16MP and has an f / 2.48 aperture.

There is still no information that points to an international launch, but at least we know that in China it is already on sale for a price of 2,298 yuan for the base version of 6GB of RAM (298 euros at the change). On the other hand, the version with 8GB of RAM costs 2,598 yuan , which would be about 337 euros to change.
