HMD Global -the company in charge of the production of Nokia smartphones- has confirmed a launch event in Barcelona this February 23rd. The brand is expected to announce a couple of mid-range handsets during the event, including the Nokia 8.2 5G and other entry-level handsets. However, this is not the only thing that is being talked about by the company these days, since it is also looking at an unconfirmed device that could be launched during MWC 2020 in Barcelona. This rumored phone is presumed to be the Nokia 5.2 , and the specifications of the device were recently leaked along with its price and even a couple of actual photos.
The source of this leak is none other than Evan Blass , a well-known tipster with a long history of successes and a lot of experience in the mobile industry.
This is what is known about the Nokia 5.2 so far: Nokia 5.2, alleged images, price and specifications leaked
According to @Evleaks, the terminal responds to the code name Captain America and will be a mid-range device. This will have a screen of at least 6 inches with a notch in the shape of a drop of water. Also, it will come with a 6GB of RAM configuration along with 64GB of internal storage and it is presumed that it will have a Snapdragon 632 chip and Android 10 out of the box .
Perhaps the most interesting thing about it is its rear camera , which is made up of four sensors arranged on a circular surface along with a pill-shaped LED flash in the middle. The back cover also has a circular fingerprint reader and, judging by the texture, it will be made of plastic or frosted glass.
Unfortunately we still do not know the exact characteristics of the screen, as well as the capacity of the battery and the processor, but at least we know that the source claims that the Nokia 5.2 will be priced at $ 180 dollars (169 euros for Europe) and a scheduled launch. for March 4.
As always, we recommend taking everything seen so far with a pinch of salt, since the Nokia 5.2 is still an unconfirmed terminal.
