Konami qualifies the plans on eFootball and calms the community: the Master League will arrive as DLC

By not appearing on the published roadmap, fans missed the star mode, although they do not give a date for it.

Following the announcement of eFootball , the new direction taken by Konami’s popular soccer saga, fans are in some doubt about what the content process will look like once the game is on the market. Remember that eFootball is how it has been renamed to PES and that now it will be a free-to-play with content “at the consumer’s taste”, paying for the game modes that interest each one the most.

To dispel some doubts that have arisen among the community, especially with offline content, the Japanese publisher has published an explanatory tweet in which it confirms that “offline modes such as ‘Master League’ will be sold in the future as optional DLC on all devices compatible, “ Konami says in the statement.

In the roadmap published by Konami, it is said that when the game is available in the fall in F2P format, we will have access to nine teams and the possibility of playing local matches with them, as well as matchmaking between systems of the same generation. Later would come the cross game between consoles and PC along with online leagues and the option to create teams, which would act as MyClub. There will also be a season pass called Match Pass, which will allow you to get objects and players as we play.

The roadmap ended by mentioning the arrival of control with controls for mobile devices, matchmaking and esports tournaments for several levels, without mentioning the Master League, the star mode of the saga. Although it seems that, if we stick to the roadmap, we will have to wait several months. From Konami they assure that they are working on this development with consoles in mind .
