Hades adds another GOTY award to his record and sweeps the GDC Awards 2021

The indie hit from Supergiant Games tops the gala, followed by Ghost of Tsushima with 2 awards.

Hades adds and continues with the statuettes. Supergiant Games’ roguelite was one of the biggest surprises of 2020, even going so far as to garner several renowned GOTY awards above other favorite AAA entries. And he has done the same again at the Game Developers Choice Awards . Chosen by the industry professionals themselves, the GDC 2021 awards have recognized Hades as Game of the Year 2020, or GOTY 2020 for friends.

In addition to taking home the “big” award, Hades was the most accolade game of the event , with a total of 3 statuettes to its credit. It is followed by Ghost of Tsushima with 2 awards, another of the most outstanding games of 2020, which recently announced a new story expansion along with its version of PS5. For their part, games like The Last of Us 2 , Half-Life: Alyx or Microsoft Flight Simulator win a prize each.

Here we show you the winners of the GDC Awards 2021 . But first of all, we invite you to review the analysis of Hades on our website , so that you know everything that this indie roguelike offers that triumphs among players and critics. Of course, do not hesitate to revisit our review of Ghost of Tsushima , the other great winner of this gala.
