Just a  few  days before the end of 2019, one of the most popular manufacturers in China has unveiled its new 5G flagships, we are talking of course about the new  Oppo Reno 3 5G and Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G , the which are characterized by their quad camera, slim and light design, as well as their generous 4,025mAh battery with fast charging.

Oppo  Reno 3 Pro : The Oppo Reno 3 and Oppo Reno 3 Pro hit the market with 5G and 4 cameras

The  Oppo  Reno 3 Pro is undoubtedly the star of the show, it exhibits the best possible configuration in every way, starting with its 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels . This integrates a fingerprint reader just under the panel and exhibits a perforation on the right side to house a 32MP front camera with f / 2.4 aperture. 

The screen also has Corning  Gorilla Glass  5 glass that is also present on the back, in turn, it reaches a maximum brightness of 800nits and covers the DCI-P3 color spectrum.  

An important detail to mention about its elegant appearance is the antenna design that wraps the entire terminal in 360 degrees , which means that you can intelligently combine different groups of antennas to ensure consistent data rates. 

Specifications of the  Oppo  Reno 3 Pro 5G 

The  Oppo  Reno 3 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 765G chip , which, although it is a Premium mid-range chip, has 5G network connectivity in Dual SIM, being capable of reaching download speeds of 3.7Gbps and upload speeds of 1.6 Gbps. It also supports 5GHz + 5G Wi- Fi, which means you can combine both networks to speed up downloads by up to 28%.  

Returning to the main topic, the  Oppo Reno 3 Pro comes in two versions of memory: one with 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage and another with 12GB of RAM along with 256GB of ROM . On the other hand, the battery that powers the terminal has a capacity of 4,025Mah and supports VOOC 4.0 fast charge of 30 watts . The company claims that the terminal can be charged from 3% to 50% in as little as 20 minutes, and from 3% to 100% in 56 minutes. 

The operating system on board is none other than ColorOS7 based on Android 10 . 

Additionally, the  Oppo  Reno 3 Pro employs a three-dimensional cooling system with a double-layer graphite foil to ensure effective heat dissipation. 

Cameras 

On a photographic level, the  Oppo  Reno 3 Pro is a beast, with a quadruple configuration at the rear . It consists of a 48MP Sony IMX586 as the main sensor, accompanied by a 13MP telephoto lens that adds 5x hybrid zoom to the mix and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor with a 116 ° field of view. The last sensor is a 2MP depth sensor. 

Oppo  Reno 3 5G 

The  Oppo  Reno 3 5G is positioned more as a mid-range terminal, although it inherits the same aesthetic line of its Pro version. Going into detail, it offers a 6.4-inch Full HD screen with a typical refresh rate of 60hz and a   V-shaped notch at the top, in other words, nothing out of the ordinary. It is worth mentioning that the panel retains the fingerprint sensor and protection of the Pro version. 

At the hardware level there is also a big change, since in the  Oppo  Reno 3 the  MediaTek Dimension  1000 chip of 7 nanometers and eight cores (2.66Ghz) debuts. This is a new mid-range chip from  MediaTek , but one that offers 5G network support on the SA and NSA bands. Regarding its memory configuration, this mobile comes in two options: 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 128GB. 

The battery does not change compared to the Pro version, retaining the same capacity and charging power of 30 watts. The same can be said for the operating system and wireless connectivity. Speaking of the latter, both models are compatible with NFC,  dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS. 

The OPPO Reno3 5G comes with a slightly different configuration than its more expensive brother. The phone features a 64MP main camera with an 8MP wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP black and white sensor. However, the front camera does not change, staying at 32MP resolution. 

Availability and price of  Oppo  Reno 3 Pro 5G and  Oppo  Reno 5G 

The  Oppo  Reno 3 Pro 5G with 8GB of RAM will be on sale in China from December 31  , while the 12GB version will be available on January 10, 2020. The first will cost 3999 yuan, which is it translates into 514 euros at the exchange rate, while the second version will cost 4,499 yuan, about 579 euros according to the current exchange rate. 

On the other hand, the  Oppo  Reno 5G will cost about 3399 yuan in its 8GB + 128GB version, approximately 437 euros to change. The 12GB + 128GB configuration will sell for 3,699 yuan, which is equivalent to 476 euros.
