The OnePlus 7T Pro has problems with adaptive brightness

OnePlus  is one of the most renowned smartphone companies in the world, and this is due not only to the quality and performance of its mobiles, but also thanks to the quality of its software. In this sense,  OxygenOS  is one of the layers of Android most loved by users, with many fans preferring it over any other alternative and even over pure stock Android. You can always screw up, though, and a lot of complaints have been popping up recently about the adaptive brightness of the  OnePlus  7T Pro .

Going into detail, there is an auto-brightness adaptability issue on some OnePlus  7T series phones  , which persists in low brightness even when under sunlight.

A user has reported this problem on the official OnePlus forum , and to their surprise, many have claimed to be having the same problem on their terminals.

“I’m not sure if I’m the only one, but the adaptive brightness of my new OnePlus 7T Pro is absolutely abysmal. It turns black when it shouldn’t and clearly doesn’t work the way it should. I turned it off and kept the brightness to my liking, but am I really unhappy with the way this was implemented on this phone or is it just my device that has this problem? ”

To this another user of the forum responded supporting the idea, indicating a very unpredictable behavior of the adaptive brightness.

“Unfortunately, I also had to disable it, as I found that keeping the brightness at around 30% means I have to adjust it fewer times than when I have it on automatic.”

It should be noted that this problem is not present in all OnePlus  7T Pro devices  , since some phones work correctly. Additionally, numerous posts have appeared in the last hours in the forum indicating that the problem has also extended to the  OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T McLaren edition.

At the moment  OnePlus  has not commented on it, but surely it is a bug that can be solved through a software update , but it is up to the company to launch it quickly to solve this problem that afflicts users.
