Realme 5S, new version with 48MP camera, red color and better price

A week ago the arrival of a new terminal of the  Realme 5 series was anticipated , which supposedly would become an intermediate version between the standard version and the Pro. However, after the revelation the Realme 5S ended up being a renewal of the model normal whose main differences are: its 48MP main camera , an even lower price and a striking and exclusive red color.

This is how the Realme 5S differs : Realme 5S, new version with 48MP camera, red color and better price

While the Realme 5 sported a quad camera combo, its main sensor was quite conservative at 12MP resolution. On the other hand, the Realme 5S ups the ante with a 48MP (f / 1.8) Samsung GM1 main sensor , which is typically found in more expensive devices.

However, the rest of the cameras remain exactly the same : 8MP ultra-wide sensor (119 °), 2MP macro lens and 2MP depth sensor. This puts the Realme 5S on par with the 5 Pro when it comes to the photography department, but nothing more. Also, the 13MP selfie camera is unchanged.

As mentioned above, the Realme 5S retains the same specifications of the standard model, but with the difference that we can now find it in red. In this sense, the terminal consists of a 6.5-inch LCD screen with water-shaped notch and HD + resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels.

Under the hood it features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 chip along with 4GB of RAM . Users will be able to choose between two memory variants for this terminal: one 64GB and the other 128GB, but always with the same amount of RAM and with the option of expanding the storage using a Micro-SD card.
