Xiaomi has announced the launch of a new terminal, the Xiaomi Mi A3 , which expands its line of devices with Android  One , characterized by offering excellent price-quality ratio, as well as all the virtues  of Google’s Android One program  , including a clean interface and guaranteed updates to the next Android iteration for at least two years. Going into details, the Xiaomi Mi A3 is an international version of the Xiaomi Mi CC9e presented in China this month, so we can already get an idea of ​​what this mid-range terminal has to offer.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 is identical to its Chinese counterpart, with a 6.08-inch AMOLED screen with a  notch  in the shape of a drop of water and a resolution of 1,560 x 720 pixels. Both the screen and the back cover have a layer of Corning Gorilla  Glass  5 that offers protection against scratches and bumps. 

Speaking of its design, the terminal adopts the curved format to which the manufacturer is accustomed, this in addition to a holographic pattern for the back cover . Also, the device is available in three color presentations: blue, gray and white. 

It is also worth mentioning that the Mi A3 incorporates a dedicated front audio system and a classic 3.5mm audio jack. On the other hand, there is no trace of a fingerprint sensor on the back, since it is built into the screen itself. 

Hardware and Features 

Under the hood lies a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor with enhanced AI capabilities , which is backed by 4GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB via Micro-SD). The Xiaomi Mi A3 is powered by a generous 4,030mAh battery , which consists of 18W fast charging through its USB Type-C port. 

In the software department, the Xiaomi Mi A3 comes with pure Android 9 Pie , there is no trace of the MIUI 10 interface that is present in the Mi CC9 series. In addition to a clean UI, the Mi A3 has all the benefits of Google Assistant, as well as guaranteed updates and extended support. 

Cameras 

The photographic capabilities of the Xiaomi Mi A3 should not be underestimated, as it includes the triple camera setup of the Mi CC9 series. In this sense, the main sensor is 48MP , the second is an 8MP wide-angle lens and the third is a 2MP one in charge of detecting depth of field. 

The front camera is no slouch, demonstrating a sensor with 32MP pixel size of  1.6 microns  and functions of artificial intelligence to improve decision.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 will go on sale in Spain this next July 24 for a price of 249 euros for the 64GB version of ROM through the  authorized Mi  Stores and different online stores. On the other hand, the 128GB version will cost 279 euros and can be booked  through  the  Mi.com  and My  Stores .
