Winnovo M866, one of the cheapest tablets
As you can read in the title of this analysis, we are going to talk about the Winnovo M866 tablet , one of the best options at an economic level.
It is not the first time that Gizlogic has analyzed a tablet of this brand as you could already see in the analysis of the Winnovo miTab Pro that we did some time ago. So let’s see what this device offers us and if it is worth getting one.
Unboxing the Winnovo M866: Winnovo M866, one of the cheapest tablets
Once we have the box in our hands, there is no doubt that we are dealing with a tablet, since both in front of and behind the box, we can see what the model that is inside is like.
On its front face we see an image of the product along with the name of the brand and the operating system that it has installed. On the front side, however, we find several specifications accompanied by an image of the back of today’s protagonist.
Once we open the box, we find the tablet nestled between cardboard and accompanied by various accessories typical of this type of device, which will help us load and use the Winnovo M866 properly.

Winnovo M866 Physical Description and Menus
The first thing we have to say is that unlike its older sister the miTab Pro, the Winnovo M866 is smaller in size, measuring 210 mm x 126 mm x 9 mm and weighing 640 grams .
This means that on its front we will have an 8-inch screen that does not exactly have too narrow frames. Two speakers and a selfie camera are located in these frames .
The back is finished in matte black plastic with the brand and provenance screen-printed. In one of its corners we find the main chamber.
In one of the “longer” edges, we find the volume up and down buttons and the one to turn the device on and off accompanied by a hole through which by inserting a pin we can reset the M866 .
In one of the “shorter ones”, we will have a micro USB port through which we will charge it or we can connect a pendrive, for example, a microphone, a micro SD card reader and a 3.5 mm mini jack port .
As you can see below, the menus and settings are nothing to write home about or nothing that you do not already know if you have gone through Android 6.0 Marshmallow , something that is more than possible. If you look closely, you will see that the PlayStore icon is missing . This is so because this tablet replaces it with the Amazon Store , something that definitely works against it.
Winnovo M866, a tablet for the “little ones”
The M866 has an 8-inch capacitive HD IPS screen and a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Inside it beats a 4-core MT8163 processor that runs at a speed of 1.3 GHz accompanied by a 1 GB RAM memory that can sometimes fall short.
The multimedia section will be handled by a Mali T720 GPU that will let us play games that are not too demanding if we take into account all its general specifications.
Its storage capacity is 16 GB , although we can expand this figure to a maximum of 64 GB of ROM through a micro SD card , so this should not worry too much.
The energy will be delivered to us by a 3500 mAh battery that will give us good data due to the low consumption of its hardware. Here you can see the adapter with which we will charge it.
As we have said above, the operating system that governs this tablet is Android in its version 6.0 Marshmallow . If we add to this the lack of PlayStore , some will think about its acquisition very much.
The cameras of the tablets are usually not worth mentioning and these were not going to be less. It has two cameras of 2 megapixels each that, as you will see below, do not give too much.
