How to organize your first ELE class?

Do you already have your first student? !! Congratulations!! Now, the complicated begins. Do not neglect the preparation of the first hour of class.
However, if it is your first class, you will surely consider how an ELE class is organized to teach Spanish with pedagogy and methodology.
The first hour of Spanish classes is an opportunity for the student and the teacher to get to know each other . So it won’t be a typical class where you learn a language just by speaking. However, the first class cannot be totally different from the following ones either, because then the student will not be able to get an idea of what to expect.
It begins by preparing the workspace at home or at the student’s home . This space should be quiet and orderly. Get on a table and side to side. Having your teacher in front of you can be very stressful.
Evaluate the level of your students through more dynamic and playful activities.
Once the space is prepared, introduce yourself to give the student (or students) more security and break the ice. Tell him a little about your  professional preparation and what you can offer him, as well as a slightly more personal facet to create a bond with the student. For example, you can explain why you want to teach, talk about what you like to do outside of work, etc.
Then ask the student to do the same . Knowing your students will allow you to better organize the next sessions according to what they like. It will also allow you to create a bond and see if you have a feeling . The latter is as important to you as it is to the student.
During this hour of classes, it is also necessary to be able to assess the level of the student according to the levels established by the CEFR ( Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ), that is, the famous levels A1, A2, B1, etc.
The evaluation of their level will allow you to better guide the classes and configure a program so that they progress in Spanish. Do not forget to also ask him about his expectations at the course level and the reasons that push him to learn this language. How to organize your first ELE class?
