Japanese contests: The best Japanese TV shows

It is a bit what we say when we see a Japanese contest, like for example, the famous program Yellow Humor , that challenges hundreds of candidates to pass a series of tests  each one more insane than the last. Its less humorous version is  Ninja Warrior , which is based on a similar principle of passing tests.
But the Japanese don’t stop at sports contests: they also know how to run contests where you have to use your brain. Dero!  is a good example: you must escape from a room by successfully completing the  challenges . However, the tests are usually done simply to  make  the public laugh as in the Gaki No Tsukai  or  Dead Meat contests  .

Other types of Japanese programs

In Japan, there are many TV quizzes, but sometimes there are also cooking shows . Food is a subject that pleases the audience and the Japanese know it well. Generally, a chef or young talent is sent to visit a city in Japan or Asia to discover the local specialties.
Finally, another very common type of program is the  talk show . They can be seen by children, but generally it is not highly recommended, since nudity, practical jokes to guests and dirty jokes are the order of the day in these types of programs that are broadcast at night.
