Yes, you have to do your research before starting and have a precise idea  of what you are going to sew.

Because depending on the sewing project, the volume of haberdashery items that you will have to buy and the choice of the quantity and quality of the fabric will vary.

In order not to get discouraged by everything that needs to be done, we advise you to spread the work over several days : take measurements one day, make the pattern another day, cut the fabric the next day, start sewing the next day.

On the other hand, it is important to  be well equipped for sewing.  Although the sewing machine does not make the seamstress, good tools are always needed to work.

Also, to make a garment, such as a poplin sweater or a ruffled dress, it is essential to  choose the fabric and sewing thread well .

Well then, have you already chosen the fabrics and threads correctly? Well, we advise you to  wash and tarnish the fabric so that it acquires its real size and does not shrink in the first wash after finishing the garment.

With a good sewing machine,  you can have fun doing simple things at first. To learn, we will not directly try to make a flared skirt or a silk strapless top. It is the best way to later acquire an advanced level of sewing and progressively improve.
