Finding a job on LinkedIn turns out to be easier than it sounds!

“Many people are talented, but only work allows a career” – Alice Parizeau

In the realm of job search and professional networking, LinkedIn ranks first. There are 30,000 messages posted every week, and according to  Jeff Bullas , it’s a real gold mine  for recruiters, the professional network, or digital marketing. That is why finding a job on this platform is possible, and even very possible!

To find work on LinkedIn , you must first effectively complete your profile.  First of all,  the profile image is very important  because it will be your showcase, your business card, your digital and visual identity. So make sure you select it carefully, that it is  related to the position you are seeking, and that it is neither too formal nor too informal. Find the perfect balance to highlight your skills!

Keep in mind that pages with a complete profile are  consulted  30% more than other profiles , so if you want to increase your notoriety on social networks, keep that in mind from the beginning! Thus, you have to know how to  present your professional career , in more detail than in a basic CV.

On LinkedIn,  everything is carefully observed and must be present  without having to ask you: experience, studies, acquired qualities, foreign languages, internships … Everything that may be interesting to establish professional relationships is worthy of interest.

But that’s not all, because apart from completing your profile, you have to know how to position it correctly , so that it appears to recruiters. Use (without abusing) keywords and hashtags , which will allow you to be present in the sections and skills that are searched.

And finally, it is not enough to have a good profile to create a network of contacts and find a job, but you have to  be active regularly on your LinkedIn page.  By soliciting offers, writing directly to recruiters, or having a professional blog, you show your interest in your field or company.

In addition, being active on LinkedIn also means  connecting with others.  You can carry out small actions, but  that will make a difference, such  as:

  • Congratulate someone on their new position,
  • Write to other users,
  • Participate in discussion groups,
  • Share relevant content on your page,
  • Share articles or posts that you have written yourself,
  • Seeking recommendations from former bosses, teachers, supervisors,
  • Etc.

As you can see, to be hired,  making contacts is an essential technique.  A recruiter will find you more easily this way, which is the advantage of LinkedIn’s professional network. It’s your turn, good luck! How to find a job on LinkedIn
