School guidance: who is in charge of guiding the students?

The figure of the counselor is mainly associated with the ESO and the Bachelor, although some primary schools and universities sometimes have a school guidance service.

The counselor is a counseling specialist with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in pedagogy, psychology, or social work.

In addition to delivering documents related to education, the counselor does everything possible to get to know the students better and thus be able to provide them with ideas fully adapted to the aspirations of the students. Therefore, do not hesitate to communicate your fears and your blocks to the counselor: the more the relationship of trust develops, the more you will be able to enjoy quality counseling!
