Keep in mind that, if you want to appear for the Civil Guard Oppositions, you must meet the following requirements:

• Have Spanish nationality before the deadline for submission of instances ends
• Be 18 years old in the year of the call and not be or have reached 41 within the year of the call
• Prove good citizen behavior  (in accordance with the provisions of Law 68/1980) 
• Not be deprived of civil rights
• Have no criminal record
• Not having been separated by means of a disciplinary file from the service of any of the Public Administrations or being disqualified from the exercise of public functions
• Possess the psychophysical aptitude that is determined in the  Order of February 19, 2019
• Fulfill any of the following requirements , demanded in the Spanish Educational System to access the teachings leading to vocational training courses of Medium Degree:

a) Have the title of Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education or a higher academic level.

b) Have passed the compulsory modules of an initial professional qualification program .

c) Having passed the specific training course for access to intermediate level cycles in public or private centers authorized by the educational Administration.

d) Having passed the entrance exam to intermediate or higher level training cycles , or the university entrance exam for people over 25 years of age.

e) Be in possession of any of the qualifications contemplated in article 18 of Royal Decree 1147/2011, of July 29, which establishes the general organization of professional training in the educational system.

• Commitment to carry weapons and, where appropriate, get to use them.
• Be in possession of a class B driving license or in a position to obtain it within the application submission period.
• Lack of tattoos that contain expressions or images contrary to the constitutional values , authorities or military virtues , that suppose disgrace to the uniform, that may violate the discipline or the image of the Civil Guard in any of its forms, that reflect obscene reasons or incite discrimination of a sexual, racial, ethnic or religious nature. Likewise, tattoos that could be visible when wearing the different modalities of the uniforms of the Civil Guard Corps are not allowed, the name, composition and use of which is included in General Order No. 12, of December 28, 2009 (Bulletin Civil Guard Officer, No. 1, of January 12, 2010).
• Height: men between 160 and 203 centimeters , and women between 155 and 203 centimeters.
• The military employed in the category of professional troops and sailors of the Armed Forces who have been in effective service for at least five years and who have not completed their commitment on the date of the end of presentation of instances.
