Diploma of University Specialization in Mechanical Design and CAD-CNC Systems
Diploma of University Specialization in Mechanical Design and CAD-CNC Systems
description: Diploma of University Specialization in Mechanical Design and CAD-CNC Systems
Currently, mechanical projects are developed and tested before manufacturing using powerful design, calculation, and mechanization tools. Thus, before having a built prototype, virtual prototypes are available .
Virtual prototypes are used to check, before manufacturing a single part, from its geometry to the way it is manufactured, through operational simulations, or even mechanical calculations.
Therefore, it is essential that you know the most common production processes in a workshop , the machines used and their control (numerical control), as well as knowing how to use computer tools (Solid Edge) for 3d mechanical design.
With the completion of this Diploma of University Specialization in CAD CNC Systems you will be able to acquire the capacity and skills necessary to perform the calculation of elements, determine the most appropriate materials, make decisions about the machining process and its subsequent implementation, that is, carry out a project mechanical.
course objectives: Diploma of University Specialization in Mechanical Design and CAD-CNC Systems
You will learn to:
- Integrate the different technologies that influence the design, prototyping, and final manufacturing process of mechanical components
- Interpret and perform mechanical drawings correctly
- Know the techniques of calculation and representation in drawings of the main elements that make up a complex mechanical system (shafts, bearings, beams …)
- Know the materials and their characteristics , the basic machining processes (turning, milling, drilling, threading techniques …), as well as the applicable current regulations
- Mastering the main CNC programming language (language under ISO code), as well as making an introduction to CAM systems . For this, a CNC simulator will be used, and a CAM program provided to the student
- Know and master 3D CAD systems , using a high-level CAD system: Solid Edge *
professional outings: Diploma of University Specialization in Mechanical Design and CAD-CNC Systems
With this course you will be able to train to work as:
- Responsibility positions in technical offices, production departments, or maintenance in general
- Responsible for technical office, draftsmen, designers, industrial design of final product, machines, and tools
