Connecting and sharing online is a given, offering access to the digital world at the touch of a button. And since 47% of 3- to 10-year-olds have a mobile phone *, it’s important to be aware of who and what they are doing when socializing online. Below we’ve recommended fun and kid-friendly online social activities for ages 12 and under.

Here are some social activities your family can do to keep your kids entertained and not feel like they’re missing out.

- Allow socializing on social networks. Since screen time is more likely to increase, it is important to realize that children’s screen time will increase, although it is not necessarily a bad thing, make sure your child hasbalanced digital diet. Online safety tips
- Talk to your kids about what they do online – do you know what they do online? Ask them who they interact with online and always tell them not to accept friend requests from strangers.

- Create a digital agreement to establish some digital rules about the use of technology inside and outside the home.
