Apple would like to offer you a 240 Hz screen on your next iPhone

Just a few days ago we talked about Apple’s intentions to mount a 120 Hz screen on the iPhone 13 , however, the latest rumors point to something even better. Apparently, the Cupertino company would like to hit the table in this regard and could be working on the possibility of incorporating a 240 Hz screen in its next flagship  . Let’s see what we know about it.

240 Hz screen, could it be a reality in the next iPhone 13?: Apple would like to offer you a 240 Hz screen on your next iPhone

This filtration emanates directly from a new  patent registered by Apple , in which you can see an option to activate a  high refresh mode , which would allow reaching 120 Hz, 180 Hz or up to 240 Hz, automatically and depending on the user needs in each case.

These rumors are especially curious because, to date, Apple does not offer 120 Hz screens in its latest devices, despite the fact that certain competitors have already opted for them. The cause could be found in the intention to  optimize battery life , however, it seems that the company’s work would now be focusing its efforts precisely on achieving high refresh rates without impairing autonomy.

Thanks to this, we could see the next iPhone 13 with a great screen fluidity. To do this, it would equip its displays with LTPO technology  , which offers low consumption, so that both purposes would be achieved.

But, in addition to this  automatic variable refresh rate that would reach up to 240 Hz and LTPO technology, these sources of leaks also point to the inclusion of the  always-on screen mode , something that if you are an Android user will not seem like anything new, but that, to date, has not been incorporated into iOS. Again, advances in the field of autonomy would be responsible for the fact that, in the end, we can enjoy these features in the next new iPhone.
