Chuwi is one of those manufacturers that does not go out of style. They started out as a Chinese brand that offered good value for money to its users and has remained true to its essence. For this reason, it is gaining more and more reputation and has a long history behind it offering devices at a good price and with worthwhile specifications. One of its latest releases is the  Chuwi HiPad Plus , an 11-inch model and Android 11.

With dimensions of  248.3 x 179.5 x 6.95 mm and a weight of  505 grams , this tablet has an  11-inch screen with 2176 x 1600 px resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. Its IPS  technology  makes it look pretty good even if we are not completely in front of the screen and its brightness level leaves us more than satisfied and makes it very convenient to use both inside and outside the home.

Its aluminum body makes it quite light and has a modern and elegant finish at the same time. The body / screen ratio is 90%, although it is true that we would have liked to see smaller frames on the front. For its part, the back of the device maintains clean lines, with the camera angled in the upper left corner.

We liked the design of this tablet a lot, with a fairly obvious memory of certain iPad, and although both models are obviously not comparable, the truth is that, at first glance, this Chuwi HiPad Plus convinces a lot.

Performance: 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage

If we go on to analyze the hardware more focused on the performance of the terminal, we find an  MT8183V octa core processor  with a maximum clock frequency of 2.0 GHz. The GPU, in charge of giving us solvency when playing games, is a  Mali G72 MP3 700 MHz , while the RAM remains at 4 GB . Enough? It is not a waste, epro for a standard use can be more than enough.

In addition, the internal storage amounts to  128 GB , which we can expand by an additional 128 GB via memory card. As with RAM, it is a capacity that for some users may be somewhat reduced, but for most, taking into account that it is a tablet that targets the mid-range, it can be very well balanced.

Multimedia, connectivity, software and battery

A tablet is at stake in performance, since no one wants a product that hangs every two by three or that is not able to open an application without having closed the previous one. And at this point we can be calm, since this Chuwi HiPad Plus fully complies.

Where we do have to know that it pricks a little is in the cameras, although it is nothing for which it deserves to be crucified. We explain ourselves. Due to its format, a tablet is not the ideal device for taking photos, so the presence of a camera is merely anecdotal. In fact, in this section we would give more importance to the front than to the back, since with the front you can make video calls. The cameras that this Chuwi HiPad Plus equips are nothing to write home about, but they show solvency for these sporadic uses that we have mentioned. The rear has  13 MP , while the front offers  5 MP .

On the other hand, it also has an  FM radio and two speakers of 1W each . The sound does fall short and is not of the quality that we could expect if what we want is that our tablet becomes a versatile device. To watch series or video calls is enough, but if you are one of those who likes to listen to music at home as if they were at a party, forget it.

The battery does leave us more convinced, thanks to its  7,300 mAh you will get a fairly decent autonomy. It depends on your use, of course, but give you up to 8 hours. If we talk about its connectivity, it includes Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi ac . We do not have NFC, something that in other types of devices, such as a smartphone, would be a catastrophe for many of us, but considering the type of use that is given to a tablet, we do not miss it either.
