Dark Souls Remastered on PC will end its 50% offer for those who had the original

If you own the Prepare to Die Edition and have not yet taken advantage of it, you have two months to do so.

When FromSoftware and Bandai Namco released Dark Souls: Remastered in 2018, the enhanced version of the Action RPG was not offered free to owners of the original. Instead, players had to buy the title again, and in the case of the PC, the companies were offering a special 50% discount for all those who had already purchased Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition on Steam . Well, the offer had an expiration date.

The official Dark Souls Twitter account confirms that the 50% Dark Souls: Remastered offer will end on September 30, 2021 . As of that date, all PC players who own the original game and have not made the jump to the remastering, will have to pay their usual price when they want to access this improved version with high resolution graphics and 60 fixed FPS.
