A simple but compliant design : DOOGEE X95 Pro, a correct and competitive low-end mobile
The DOOGEE X95 Pro is a simple terminal at its core, but it does its best to look modern and stylish. It has a slim unibody body, weighing just 192 grams and 8.8mm thick , but just because it is light and thin does not mean it has a premium look, it is actually constructed of plastic materials that reveal its true nature. Also, the frames are thicker than the rendered images show, especially the lower frame or chin of the screen.
With that said, the X95 Pro has a textured surface on the back , which can be black, blue or green, which would be the color presentations available for it.
Do not bother looking for a fingerprint reader in this terminal, because it simply does not have it, which is a shame, and the same can be said about the absence of a USB type C port, instead, we will have to settle for an outdated port Micro USB.
Leaving the negative aside, on the front it has a 6.52-inch LCD panel with a drop of water, which exhibits HD + resolution , a 90% screen-to-body ratio and a 19: 9 aspect ratio. Without being the most important element of a phone, the DOOGEE X95 Pro screen is one of its main attractions; overall it provides a good viewing experience, with decent viewing angles and a good level of luminescence, as evidenced by its 600nits of brightness.
Hardware and Features
Under the hood of the DOOGEE X95 Pro lies a low-end MediaTek Helio A20 chip , which is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage , twice the memory of the base version. It should be noted that said internal storage can be expanded up to 256GB via Micro-SD at the cost of occupying one of the two available nano-SIM slots.
Despite carrying “Pro” in the name, the X95 Pro is not much more powerful than the original model, since both are based on the same SoC (Helio A20), although certainly having twice the memory helps you stay fast. when using apps.
With that said, the performance that we can expect from the set is what we would expect from any terminal below 100 euros, in other words, enough to run day-to-day apps with ease, surf the Internet and have several apps open at the same time, but not as much as for demanding scenarios or heavy games. The performance it provides is correct and nothing more, but for what it costs it was to be expected.
In a different vein, this mobile is powered by a 4,350mAh battery with a 10W “fast” charge , nothing to write home about , but it will certainly deliver between 1-2 days of use.
On the other hand, the operating system of turn is Android 10, and although it is not the most recent version on the market, the manufacturer has at least had the decency to leave it in its pure state. There are some other apps installed by the brand, such as file manager and optimization, but nothing that cannot be removed in a matter of seconds.
In terms of connectivity it is quite conventional, it has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and nothing else.
Cameras
In the photographic department it is equipped with a triple camera on the back, which consists of a 13MP primary sensor , a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP telephoto lens with 2X zoom, not to mention the LED flash. The quality of the photos is again acceptable, nothing to brag about, but not to complain about either.
However, we cannot say the same for the 5MP front camera , which suffers in terms of sharpness and exposure of the shots. Supposedly it supports facial recognition, but we know that it is of the 2D type, so it is not very accurate.
