There are just 72 hours left for Huawei to unveil its new flagships for 2020. With the Series P40 family about to come out of the oven,  the leaks on the design of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro are already beginning.  We have been able to access some photographs based on renders that could predict the design of the terminal that the company would already be preparing for next fall.

Although these sources are usually quite correct, it must be borne in mind that at the moment they are only  rumors and that there are still quite a few months left, so it might not be the final design.

The Mate family has always been characterized by having an iconic design and serving as inspiration for other terminals of the company. If we are right about the images that have been leaked, there is no doubt that the designers of Huawei would have squeezed their brains very well to bring us a concept very different from everything we have seen so far.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro points to an inverted notch that would protrude above the screen but would leave the panel free to achieve a full view. At the back, the camera, with four lenses and a flash in the central part, would have a diamond-shaped package and a vertical line that reminds us of the Mate 10 family.

For our part, we do not believe these renderings at face value, since other leaks point to a pentacamera, but it is possible that the shots are not very wrong.

In any case, it is still too early to try to have the design of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro on the table and, for now,  all our eyes are on the launch of the P40 , dated this Thursday, March 26.
