Future Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 could feature S Pen support

We still do not have it available in Spain (it will arrive on October 18) and we are already receiving leaks about the second generation of the Samsung Galaxy Fold . This new folding smartphone would hit the market in 2020 under the name of  Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 and with it the South Korean company would seek to recover the lost reputation with this launch, which is late and after having gone through some initial problems.

The S Pen, the highlight of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2: Future Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 could feature S Pen support

In addition to a  redesign in the way of treating its folding character, the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 would have a very special novelty: the  S-Pen support .

Until now, this touch screen pen can only be used on your Note family’s screens and tablets, a feature that improves productivity and helps you take notes or make designs in a faster, more comfortable and natural way.

The folding screens of smartphones have as one of their most distinctive features the fact that they can increase their size considerably and reach a fairly generous diagonal. Therefore, using the S Pen is not crazy, on the contrary, it  could substantially improve the user experience .

We have been able to see this information through the sketches that we leave you on these lines. The  patent shows that the S Pen would work even with the screen partially folded, giving this possibility more versatility.

It is strange to speak of a second generation when we still do not even have the first one on the market, but it seems that, after the initial problems with this type of device, the company has gained strength and could soon win us back with its Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. Will they take advantage of the Galaxy S11 presentation event again to show it to the world or, this time, will we have to wait a little longer? We will know soon.
