Honor X10 Max, a mid-range titan with a 7-inch screen and 5G
The young sub-brand of Huawei, Honor, has presented two new mid-range mobiles with 5G, the Honor 30 Lite and the Honor X10 Max , and the latter will be the protagonist of the next post, as it surprises us with its immense screen of 7.09 inches accompanied by a price that many may consider reasonable.
The Honor X10 Max bets on a gigantic screen: Honor X10 Max, a mid-range titan with a 7-inch screen and 5G
Let’s start with the obvious, the Honor X10 Max touches the field of smart tablets with its huge 7.09-inch LCD screen , which is complemented by a Full HD + resolution and a notch in the shape of a drop of water, making the most of the frontal space. (84.7%). As if that were not enough, the screen is compatible with the HDR10 standard , has a brightness of 780 nits and uses an RGBW color matrix , making it an excellent device to consume multimedia content, such as movies, series or videos.
The terminal itself is a bit larger than average, with dimensions of 174.4 x 84.9 x 8.3 mm and a weight of 232 grams. In addition, it has the fingerprint reader mounted on the right side.
MediaTek Dimensity 800 on board
The Honor X10 Max is powered by MediaTek’s popular 5G chip for the mid-range, the MT6873, which consists of eight 2.0Ghz cores and is built on a 7nm node. However, the most interesting thing about it is that it provides 5G connectivity in the NSA and SA bands . Likewise, the chip is accompanied by 6GB or 8GB of RAM along with an internal storage of 64GB / 128GB, the latter being expandable up to a maximum of 256GB via Huawei Nano Memory cards.
Regarding autonomy, the Honor X10 Max is powered by a 5,000mAh battery backed by 22.5-watt fast charging.
On the other hand, Android 10 is the operating system and is accompanied by the custom Magic UI layer, but as expected, it lacks Google services and applications, like all Huawei terminals recently launched. In terms of connectivity, it is equipped with everything usual: dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS, this with the notable addition of NFC and, of course, 5G NSA / SA.
Cameras
On this front the Honor X10 Max is not so surprising, but it does well with a triple rear camera, where the main sensor is 48MP and the secondary (wide angle) and tertiary (depth) are 8MP and 2MP , respectively. As an incentive, your camera uses pixel grouping technology to improve the lighting of the shots.
On the other hand, the front camera consists of a single 8MP sensor with HDR.
