We already saw it in Alpha and it stays in the stable version

Already in the tests in Alpha of MIUI 11, one of the novelties that aroused the most interest was precisely this drawer of applications in Xiaomi. Due to its good performance and the good reception from users, the company has decided to keep it in the final stable version.

In this way, MIUI loses that “iOS air” in which its previous versions were inspired and is a little closer to the Android side.

The user can choose whether to have an application drawer in Xiaomi

An advantage is that the user can have in his hand the decision to have an application drawer in Xiaomi or, on the contrary, to keep the apps spread out on the home screen, as before.

If the drawer is chosen, it can be accessed by swiping up from the home screen. Inside it, we will first see a small row of suggested apps (according to our most frequent use) and then the complete list of applications that we have installed.

This function is already available in the update for China , while, in the rest of the world, wait for it to reach the global version of MIUI 11, something that is expected to happen in the coming days.
