How to report COVID vaccine side effects electronically

If you have already been vaccinated against COVID-19 and have had any type of reaction, it is important that you notify it in order to help the relevant authorities have more information about the vaccination. If you have a fever or any other symptom, it is useless to upload the photo of the thermometer to Instagram and the next day you go back to doing your life as if nothing had happened. The statistics are drawn, precisely, from the people who duly notify it and thanks to them it is possible to better understand the  side effects of the COVID vaccine.

If you have had one and want to help, you can  contact your Health Center so that they can register it, or  notify it yourself as a citizen . We tell you how to do it.

Reporting COVID Vaccine Side Effects from Home: How to report COVID vaccine side effects electronically

All you have to do is enter  this website enabled by the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products and fill in the form that appears.

First, you will have to  select the CCAA  in which you have been vaccinated and then click on  Citizen Notification – New notification . Fill in your personal data (not all of them are mandatory, but the more the better, since the more information, the more you can help).

In step 2 they ask you if it is a drug that has given you a reaction or if it was the COVID vaccine. Check the box as seen in the following image.

Now, it’s time to enter the vaccine data: manufacturer, date of administration, batch (it comes in the vaccination report that they gave you) and arm in which they put it. In the next step they ask you  if you have taken any other medications in the last three months . In the four steps you will be able to indicate in what state you are currently and if you consider that it has been serious. In addition, it is at this time that you will be able to describe all the symptoms that you have had. You can add several by clicking Accept and Save Adverse Reaction and then New Adverse Reaction. Finally, it asks you to enter the details of the person who is sending this information.

Notifying the side effects of the COVID vaccine will take you just five minutes of time and you can help make the information you have about them as real as possible.

And remember that if you have already completed the vaccination schedule, you can download your  COVID Certificate .
