To benefit from a higher and more stable salary, sewing teachers can turn to fashion and styling schools . But teaching young students how to sew in a school and teaching them the basics of sewing patterns, sewing and needle handling requires excellent training.
We recommend that you search the Internet for a list of the most important styling schools and the studies they offer, in order to compare and choose what suits you best according to your expectations and wishes. To do this, keep the following aspects in mind:
- Studies should be comprehensive but easy to follow . Ideally, your fashion school will offer you a curriculum and the support of a tutor.
- Make sure that the training is completed with an internship in order to develop the knowledge acquired. And that it has a job bank and job market training.
- The school must be recognized and endorsed by professionals in the sector and by students. You must have good references.
- The studies must be adapted to your needs : face-to-face courses, distance courses, specific topics … You must choose the option that best suits your future projections.
