Huawei continues to swell its mid-range ranks with 5G-compatible terminals, making this technology affordable for the masses and pushing prices further down, which is definitely a good thing for all consumers. The latest device from the Chinese company to follow this trend is the Huawei Enjoy Z 5G , but the Huawei P40 Lite , which was announced a few days ago , is also worth mentioning . However, in this post we will focus on meeting the first, which can also boast of having a screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz, something that makes the mobile even more attractive in its respective price range.

At first we know that the Huawei Enjoy Z 5G carries a 6.5-inch LCD screen , which exhibits a FullHD + resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and even more interesting: a 90Hz refresh rate for a more fluid interface navigation. This panel consists of a notch in the shape of a drop of water that houses the front camera.

Being an LCD panel, it does not integrate a fingerprint reader, the latter has been moved to the right side and shares a place with the on / off button. On the rear deck there is a rectangular module where 3 cameras are arranged vertically aligned along with a dual-tone LED flash.

Lastly, the color presentations include black, blue, and white.

MediaTek Dimensity on board

Powered by the Huawei Enjoy Z 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 800 chip , which is the most affordable 5G SOC of the moment. It is made up of eight cores running at 2Ghz (4 Cortex-A76 cores + 4 A55 cores) and is backed by a NATT MC4 GPU. Also, the mobile has memory options of 6 / 8GB of RAM along with 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. To power the set, a 4,000mAh battery is used , which is compatible with 22.5-watt fast charging.

Moving on to the software department, we have Android 10 alongside the EMUI 10.1 user interface. However, we all know the rules: no Google services or applications due to the current commercial ban. In terms of connectivity, it has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth version 5.0, NFC for electronic payments and more importantly, 5G in the NSA and SA bands.

The triple camera of the Huawei Enjoy Z 5G can be broken down as follows:

The set is capable of shooting video in 4K at 30FPS and supports additional functions such as HDR and panorama mode. On the other hand, the front camera is a 16MP sensor with f / 2.0 aperture and can only record in 1080p.

Availability and price of the Huawei Enjoy Z 5G

In the case of the Enjoy series, there is no reason to wait for a launch in Spain for now, for the latter Huawei will have to rebranding the terminal and several months will have passed. What we can tell you is that the Huawei Enjoy Z 5G is already on sale in China with a price of 1,699 yuan (218 euros) for the base version (6GB + 64GB), while the configuration with higher memory (8GB + 128GB) costs 2,199 yuan (about 288 euros at today’s exchange rate).
