The new year brings us an exclusive version for Spain of the Huawei P40 Lite smartphone . A device that struggles in the price range categories, but that aims to provide the user with unmatched qualities and performance . As happened to us with the Huawei Nova 5T model , we have been fortunate to receive one of these phones on loan to be able to test it. Once tested, we write this review so that you can know first-hand the impressions that the Huawei mobile has caused us .

With the reference P40 Lite , the Huawei company presents us with a renewed P series device that shines with its own light. And it is that although it is a mid-range terminal for price, everything in its appearance gives it a higher level aura.

The phone is delivered, as usual in the brand, in a simple box rectangular in white . It does not show any picture of the phone. The only thing that says on the packaging is the brand and model of the device. At the base of the box we find some stickers with the reference data of the product and its hardware .

With such a simple box, we cannot expect more than a simple opening of the packaging. We only have to remove the upper part that surrounds the base. Executing this action, we come across the phone directly, which is placed on a cradle in the shape of the device. Below this, we have a case with the documentation and the SIM tray eject tool .

We have before us a smartphone with a modern and very attractive appearance . Aspects enhanced by its beautiful color . It’s definitely a good-sized device . However, it is not counterproductive for handling, as it has a design that is comfortable to handle. It has the typical rectangular shape , polished with rounded edges for a good fit in the hand.

The finish of the mobile is simply spectacular. Virtually everything in it is glass , except for the silver-colored frame , since its front is dominated by this material, and the back is created with layers of curved glass . The Huawei P40 Lite is light, 183 grams, and has dimensions of 159.2 x 76.3 x 8.7 mm .

The Huawei P40 Lite is a mobile phone superior in many respects to any other in its range in the competition. With agile and powerful performance, the smartphone offers commendable fluidity. The only barrier that this device has to convince the buyer is the absence of Google services and applications . However, we consider that it is not a serious problem at all, and we awarded the Huawei P40 Lite the Gizlogic Gold Award .
