The Huawei P40 series is getting closer with the passing of days, and not long ago we had the opportunity to appreciate some  leaked images of the P40 and P40 Pro , but recently we heard an interesting rumor that suggests that there will be a third member, to which the  tipsters  They are referred to as Huawei P40 Pro PE, and whose main difference is its five-fold rear camera.  

To accompany these rumors, new rendered images of the terminal have just come to light, and renowned tipsters  such as Evan Blass affirm that the Huawei P40 series will be officially presented on March 26 . 

Huawei P40 Pro PE : Huawei P40 Pro PE, a new model with Penta camera comes to light

It is not yet known what the “PE” means at the end of the name, some speculate that it might mean Premium or Penta, but be that as it may, the leaked images speak for themselves. The similarities with the Huawei P40 Pro are obvious, you could even confuse the new images with the old ones, but everything changes when you appreciate the rectangular photographic module, which houses not three or four cameras, but five sensors. 

A ceramic finish can be seen on the rear cover (or so rumors suggest), as well as a curved front panel with a pill-shaped cutout for the pair of selfie cameras . The rest of the noticeable features are the USB Type-C port, a microphone, an external speaker, a SIM slot and the typical volume and power buttons. 

As for the cameras themselves, not much is known other than that a periscope lens capable of 10x optical zoom is expected. This can be appreciated by zooming in on the camera inscription, where it reads 18-240mm . 

There is also no information on the specifications that the  Huawei P40 Pro PE will have , although it could be powered by the Kirin 990 5G chip and perhaps have more RAM and internal storage than the other versions of the P40, but at the moment all this is conjectures.
