Recently Huawei presented a mobile that is presumed to be the global version of the Honor 9X Pro that was launched in China several months ago (with the occasional modification). It is known as Huawei Y9s , and regardless of whether it is an international version of the previous mobile or not, the truth is that it is an interesting mid-range mobile that is worth knowing, and we will dedicate ourselves to that in this post.

At the design level, the Huawei Y9s is identical to the Honor 9X Pro , therefore, it has the same characteristics as said mobile. With these particularities we refer to its pop-up front camera system, which allows the terminal to display a 6.59-inch LCD screen without any notch or perforation . It is a screen in its entirety and gives us a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels.

The second highlight of the design of this mobile is its fingerprint sensor , which is located on the right side of the terminal, just below the volume control. On the other hand, the rear cover exhibits a glass finish with a gradient color and has a triple camera module.

Available color presentations are: Midnight Black and Crystal Blue.

Kirin 710F in

At the hardware level we find a different processor than the one used in the 9X Pro. This time a Kirin 710F chip is listed accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage . The latter can be expanded up to 512GB using Micro-SD cards.

It is also powered by a 4,000mAh battery with a USB Type-C port . However, the Huawei Y9s is not indicated to support fast charging technology. A power of 10 watts is mentioned, but that would hardly classify as fast charging.

At the software level we find the typical EMUI user interface (9.1) on Android 9 Pie.

Cameras: Huawei Y9s, screen without notch and with triple 48MP camera

The Huawei Y9s can boast of its photographic combination, which can be broken down as follows: a 48MP main sensor with f / 1.8 aperture , an 8MP wide-angle lens with a 120-degree field of view, and finally, a depth sensor of only 2MP (f / 2.4).

Meanwhile, the front pop-up camera employs a 16MP sensor with f / 2.2 aperture.

At the moment, the Huawei Y9s has been launched in a single country (Iraq) for a price that is equivalent to approximately 215 euros . The company has not yet confirmed its launch in other markets, so we can only wait for an official announcement .
