The renowned Chinese screen manufacturer, TCL, has presented a new mid-range-premium mobile phone at # IFA19 in Berlin : the TCL Plex , which incorporates the vast experience of the number 1 brand of televisions in China. It is therefore a terminal that places great emphasis on the screen , even having a dedicated processor for it, but more importantly, it is the fact that it remains faithful to the philosophy of the brand, which is known as Display Greatness . However, the display is not the only thing that defines the TCL Plex, so it is worth getting to know it thoroughly.

The TCL Plex incorporates a 6.53-inch TCL Dotch LCD screen , which offers an FHD + resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels and a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. The panel has a density of 395 pixels per inch and exhibits a hole for the selfie camera, which is located in the upper left corner.
However, what makes this screen special is the TCL NXTVISION technology , supported in turn by a dedicated Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Thanks to this combination, it is possible to offer color precision never seen before on a mobile phone and the HDR standard is reached, which in return provides amplified colors, greater contrast, brighter highlights and darker, but well-defined shadows.
Speaking of HDR , the terminal additionally incorporates a function capable of converting SDR video to HDR in real time. TCL also cares about our eyesight, which is why they have included a blue light filter (Eye Comfort), adaptive brightness tone function and reading mode. The latter offers a viewing experience that resembles paper.
The design of the screen itself is also not far behind, with extremely narrow bezels and 2D edge enhancement. And speaking of the design of the terminal itself, it consists of a holographic finish and vacuum coating along with an OPVD film on the second surface. Plus, it comes in two stylish color options: Opal White and Obsidian Black.
