Rumors have been floating around the internet for some time about a new iPhone SE 2, that is, a new affordable iPhone that Apple would have kept up its sleeve. Some refer to this device as iPhone 9, and that is the name by which we will call it from now on. The fact is that it is rumored that this mobile would be presented on March 31 at an event that Apple will hold in Cupertino, having a scheduled launch for April 3. 

However, an internal Apple source notes that this is no longer the case, and that the launch of the iPhone 9 has been postponed indefinitely due to production problems . The source indicates that the production capacity of Foxconn and other factories is at 50% and that this volume is not enough to cover the demand after launch. The reason for the decline in production capacity is none other than the Coronavirus epidemic , which has obviously severely affected many companies inside and outside of China. 

Under Foxconn’s previous plans, they expect to resume 50% of their production by the end of February and plan to resume 80% of their production in mainland China in March.

Also, the iPhone 9 will be accompanied by 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM along with 64GB / 128GB of internal storage . The operating system would be iOS 13 and unlike the iPhone 11 series, the iPhone 9 would not support  Face  ID , instead it would use the home button as a fingerprint reader. That’s right, it will have a physical Home button , what memories won’t it? 

Finally, a launch price of $ 399 is being considered , but the idea is that it costs half of what an iPhone 11 is worth in all territories.
