The young smartphone brand that was born from the bosom of Vivo, IQOO, has just announced a new terminal focused on  gaming  that surprises for having the screen with the highest refresh rate, which reaches 144Hz. But this is not all, since the new IQOO 5G Neo 3 also incorporates 5G connectivity and mounts the Snapdragon 865 chip with 12GB of RAM to offer the experience  gamer  final.

IQOO has decided to up the ante to the maximum with the IQOO NEO 3, giving it the highest refresh rate recorded in a mobile to date, 144Hz , which is on par with monitors designed specifically for games. As if that were not enough, the device also mounts a decent 6.57-inch LCD panel that offers Full HD + resolution and HDR10 compatibility. 

It is important to mention that this screen has a hole for the front camera located just in the upper right corner and that, due to its type of technology, it lacks a fingerprint reader. The latter has been relocated to the right side for added convenience. 

The terminal not only has an excellent screen, but  also  has an elegant glass back cover with a gradient effect, in which you can see a rectangular module that houses three cameras and a respective LED flash. It is worth noting the presence of a pair of stereo speakers, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack .

Although everything described so far seems dreamy, it is normal for Smartphones with a “ gaming ” label to cut corners in the photographic department, and the IQOO Neo 3 5G is no  exception , but it does so in order to maintain a price relatively affordable. Even so, the offer does not look bad at all, counting on a triple camera that breaks down into a 48MP main sensor (f / 1.79) , an  8MP ultra-wide-angle secondary sensor  (f2.2) and, finally, a 2MP lens for macro photography.   

The set has electronic image stabilization and can shoot video in 2K at 30FPS. On the  other  hand, a 16MP sensor with f / 2.0 aperture is embedded in the screen, whose recording capacity remains at 1080p at 30FPS. 

Availability and price of the IQOO Neo 3 5G

The IQOO Neo 3 5G for the  moment  remains in China, where it has been put on sale this April 29 for a price of 2,698 yuan in its most basic edition , which is equivalent to 353 euros to change. For its part, the configuration most  elitist  (12GB of RAM + 128GB ROM) worth about 3298 yuan, ie about 431 euros to change. An international release is yet to be confirmed, so wait and cross your fingers.
