LG is renewing its K series mid-range terminals, and it is the LG K42’s turn to go through this process. The K42 is an input terminal that consists of different notable innovations for its price, including a change in its design, where the resistance of the phone is benefited thanks to the incorporation of military-grade protection, which makes it immune scratches and ultraviolet rays, something quite unusual to see in devices of this range.

ELG K42 offers a fairly elegant and modern structure, on the front the screen is located with a small notch at the top, while on the back it consists of a glass module, which houses its four cameras and the flash. Without any doubt, the star feature of this mobile is the incorporation of a military certificate MIL-STD810G , which is guaranteed by the presence of a textured and non-slip back cover that is resistant to scratches and ultraviolet rays from the sun. 

Also, the screen uses a  6.6-inch LCD panel with HD + resolution inhabited by an   8MP selfie camera.

LG decided to opt for a  MediaTek  Helio P22 as the processor of the LG K42, which is complemented by a single memory configuration of 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which makes it clear that it was designed to meet the basic needs of those users in looking for a mobile with modest features and affordable price.  

Additionally, the LG K42 will provide a fairly large and decent battery of about 4,000 mAh , but without the option of fast charging. Regarding connectivity, the LG K42 incorporates support for a 4G mobile network, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS.  

Finally, it has a 4-camera system on the back, having as its main camera a 13-megapixel sensor accompanied by a 5-megapixel super wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera again. . 

Price and availability 

At the moment the LG K42 has been announced only for Central America, and the recommended sale price of the mobile has not yet been published, so we will have to wait for an official confirmation.
