LG K61, K51S and K41S, the new from LG with 4 cameras and 6.5 ”screens
The South Korean company LG has just announced a trio of smartphones for the K series, these are the LG K61, LG K51S and LG K41S, which have several aspects in common, including their 6.5-inch screen, a 4,000mAh battery and a quad rear camera arrangement .
This is the LG K61: LG K61, K51S and K41S, the new from LG with 4 cameras and 6.5 ”screens
The LG K61 is the leader of the pack and it has a 6.5-inch screen with FullHD + resolution and perforation for the front camera. As a result, this mobile exhibits a 19.5: 9 aspect ratio. LG claims that the 2020 K series phones are designed with cinematically proportioned displays and slimmer bezels than their predecessors to enhance the viewing experience.
The design of the back is shared by the three devices, including the arrangement of the sensors (but not their resolution), the position of the fingerprint reader and the dedicated button for the Google assistant , in addition to this, they all have MIL-STD 810G military grade endurance certificate .
Specifications and cameras of the LG K61
The company did not specify the model or manufacturer of the processor used in the LG K61, but at least we know that it is a 2.3Ghz Octa-Core chip , which is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of internal storage. . The latter is expandable up to 2TB using memory cards.
On the other hand, the battery that powers the LG K 2020 series has a capacity of 4,000mAh and is charged through a USB type C port. In terms of connectivity, the 3 terminals support the same standards: dual Wi-Fi band, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 and 4G LTE . It is also worth mentioning that they retain the 3.5mm audio jack and are compatible with DTS: X 3D stereo sound.
In the photographic department, the three terminals have a horizontal arrangement of four cameras on the back, but the similarities go as far as here, since each model has a different resolution for the photographic sensors.
In the case of the LG K61, we are talking about a 48MP primary camera combined with an 8MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 5MP sensor to perceive depth of field. For its part, the selfie camera is a respectable 16MP.
LG K51S
The LG K51S is the middle brother and this one also has a 6.5-inch screen with a hole-punch camera, but the resolution has dropped to HD + and the aspect ratio is 20: 9. Also, the K51S is narrower than the LG K61S. In theory, the processor is the same to use in its older brother, but this is only combined with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable by microSD up to 2TB).
When it comes to cameras, the K51S has a 32MP main camera , a 5MP super wide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. Under the rear cameras there is a fingerprint scanner, as in the rest of the terminals. However, the selfie camera lowers its resolution to 13MP.
LG K41S: LG K61, K51S and K41S, the new from LG with 4 cameras and 6.5 ”screens
We reached the smallest of the litter, literally and figuratively speaking. The LG K41S is differentiated by its 6.5-inch screen with a notch in the shape of a drop of water and HD + resolution . Apparently this mobile is considerably less powerful than its brothers, since the company lists a 2.0Ghz eight-core processor along with 3GB of RAM and only 32GB of internal memory.
While it retains the same battery, connectivity options, and features as its bigger siblings (including MIL-STD-810G certification), we can’t say the same for the photo setup, which is based on the K51S, but with a couple Key Differences: The main sensor is only 13MP and the selfie camera is 8MP.
Availability and price: LG K61, K51S and K41S, the new from LG with 4 cameras and 6.5 ”screens
We are a bit embarrassed to admit that we still do not know the prices of each model, since the company has not wanted to share them. However, what we do know is the 2020 LG K series will be available from the second quarter in the Americas, followed by select markets in Europe and Asia.
