Moto E6s, Motorola introduces us to a new input terminal
Motorola has just introduced a “new” smartphone, the Moto E6s, and we say new in quotes since the company had previously marketed a device with the same name in India, but the terminal that we will talk about today is considerably different from that. Going into detail, the Moto E6s is emerging as an entry-level device that strives to offer the best possible for the price range in which it is located.
Motorola Moto E6s : Moto E6s, Motorola introduces us to a new input terminal
Like its version for India, which is actually a Moto E6 Plus with a name change (it is confusing we know), the Moto E6s has a 6.1-inch IPS screen with HD + resolution of 1,520 x 720 pixels and notch in the form drop of water . The back cover is made of plastic and features a repellent design that protects the terminal from splashes and nothing else.
Also, we cannot forget to mention the fingerprint reader for quick unlock that is on the back cover.
Under the hood is the same Helio P22 processor , but unlike its counterpart sold in India, this new version only has 2GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB via Micro-SD). For its part, the battery has a capacity of 3,000mAh and does not support fast charging , another difference when compared to the Indian version .
The operating system is still Android 9 Pie , which is somewhat disappointing considering that a large part of the low-end terminals have already adopted Android 10. In terms of connectivity, the Moto E6s comes equipped with the usual: 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi- Fi b / g / n, Micro-USB and 3.5mm audio port .
Moving on to the photographic realm, the Moto E6s is equipped with a dual camera with an LED flash . Here we find a 12MP main sensor (f / 2.2 aperture) accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera stays at 5MP, which again constitutes a difference in relation to its other version.
Availability and price
Motorola has been quite vague with their statements, and the only thing we know is that the Moto E6s “will be available in Latin America, Europe and Asia in the coming weeks . ” The price has not been confirmed either, but for reference, the Moto E6s from India retails for Rs 7,000 (86 euros to change) and has more RAM and internal storage than the international version.
