MOTO G8 Power Lite, entertainment with a lot of energy and at a good price
Motorola has just presented the new installment of the MOTO G Power series, which includes the MOTO G8 Power and MOTO G8 Power Lite . This time we will be talking about the latter, which is emerging as an affordable device with good performance and an enviable autonomy provided by a 5,000mAh battery .
This is the MOTO G8 Power Lite, economic and with battery for a while : MOTO G8 Power Lite, entertainment with a lot of energy and at a good price
The MOTO G8 Power Lite boasts a 6.5-inch IPS screen with HD + resolution and a water-shaped notch to house the front camera. Although its frames are not the thinnest that we have seen in this price range, they are not bad at all and the terminal maintains a refined look.
In the back we can see a polycarbonate cover with a fingerprint reader in the center and an arrangement of triple cameras in the back, where the main sensor is separated from the rest.
If we compare it with the standard MOTO G8 Power , it is clear that the construction of the device looks cheaper and discreet, but it is what we might expect from a device with the Lite designation. One aspect that does not convince us is the fact that the terminal opts for an outdated Micro-USB 2.0 port instead of USB-C, which surely was a sacrifice to reduce production costs.
Hardware and Features
The MOTO G8 Power Lite comes on the market with a MediaTek Helio P35 chip . It is accompanied by 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable through Micro-SD up to a maximum of 256GB.
However, the most interesting thing here is the generous 5,000mAh battery with a 10-watt charge that powers the terminal. Motorola promises an autonomy of 2 whole days with normal use and up to 19 hours of video playback.
The operating system of turn is Android 9 Pie, and yes, we know, Android 10 has been available for months, so it is a decision that we can all criticize the company. It is also worth mentioning that some exclusive Motorola functions are included with it, such as, for example, gesture control, or as the company calls them: Moto Actions.
In terms of wireless connectivity, the MOTO G8 Power Lite offers the usual: 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 4, Bluetooth 4.2, and A-GPS.

At the photographic level, it has a triple camera made up of a 16MP main sensor with f / 2.0 aperture , which is accompanied by a 2MP macro lens with f / 2.4 aperture and by a depth sensor with the same resolution and aperture as the previous. Meanwhile, the front camera stays at 8MP along with an f / 2.0 lens aperture.
The company promises features such as PDAF, background blur, rapid focus and the ability to take shots from 2.5cm away from the lens thanks to the macro camera.
