The new Tablet  Fire  HD 8 has been officially announced by Amazon with a well-deserved refresh of specifications, now it incorporates a slightly wider 8-inch HD screen, a battery that guarantees up to 12 hours of use, better performance and support for microSD cards up to 1TB. The  Fire  HD 8 is not a glorified Kindle, but an Android device capable of entertaining the whole family, including access to movies, series, books, songs, games and more through Amazon services.

In terms of design and components, the Fire  HD 8 Tablet  now features a fairly wide 8-inch HD (1280 x 800) screen . According to Amazon, it incorporates a 2.0 GHz quad-core processor, which performs 30% better than the previous one, it also has a configuration of 2GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of internal storage , including support for MicroSD cards of up to 1TB. The aforementioned implies an increase of half a gigabyte of RAM and twice the internal storage compared to the previous  generation. 

The Fire  HD 8  Tablet  is  equipped with a  battery  whose capacity is unknown, but according to Amazon, it is capable of providing up to 12 hours of battery life . It also  has a fairly simple 2  megapixel camera on  both the back and the front, and a USB Type-C port with an estimated charging time of less than 5 hours. 

Among the additional novelties we can mention the new mode for games , during which  you will not  receive  any  notification and  you can  focus on your game without   any interruption . The new Amazon Fire  HD 8 Tablet  allows you to enjoy a large selection of content, from  movies , series, songs, virtual books, magazines to content downloaded through Prime Video, Netflix and Disney + for children. As you might expect, it also  allows you to watch content online, either through Netflix or  Twitch .  

During this quarantine it is important to stay connected, that is why this Tablet comes with applications such as Skype and Zoom pre-installed, either  for  online classes or to keep in touch with family and friends.

The Fire HD 8 Tablet will be on pre-sale with a price of only  99.99 Euros , the   64GB version of ROM is estimated at a price of 129.99 Euros. It should be noted that  shipments will  be  made  from June 3,  2020 and that reservations can now be made through Amazon.com.
