There are just a few days left to begin to know some official details of Android 12, through the preview that is expected to be released very soon. For this reason, it does not seem at all unreasonable to already know some leaks and, among them, this  one-handed mode that would finally come natively to Android smartphones.

The filtration, which emanates directly from XDA,  allows us to mount the screen interface virtually in four inches , whatever our phone size, so that we can use it  comfortably with just one hand .

This feature would be part of its advances in  accessibility and could be activated from  Settings – System – Gestures – One hand .

When will it be available?

Once this function is configured, the user could activate and deactivate it with a specific gesture, which we do not know at the moment. It is something very useful for certain occasions when we cannot use both hands. Regarding the arrival date, as we told you at the beginning of this article, it is expected to be released natively with the arrival of Android 12 . It is expected that its Developer Preview will arrive this same month of February and that it will be presented in society around the month of May, although it would not be until the beginning of autumn when it would finally reach the user.
