OnePlus  is a company that always stays at the forefront of technological innovation and is not afraid to explore outlandish and visionary concepts with its devices; as proof of this there is the  OnePlus  Concept  One , and now we can also count the  OnePlus 8T Concept. 

This new version of the  OnePlus 8T is characterized by its electrochromic back cover, which can change the color of the glass from dark blue to light silver. Inside it has the same specifications of the OnePlus 8T that we met in October 2020. However, the technology used for its rear is extremely innovative and interesting.

The design of the  OnePlus  8T Concept is inspired by the water that flows in the hot springs of Pamukkale , Turkey; That is what its managers tell us, who seek a combination of natural design with advanced technologies that allow us to provide a unique interaction between users and the device. 

The color change is achieved by  electrochromism ,  that is, a film containing metal oxide is used on the glass, which changes color when electricity is allowed to circulate through it. 

It is important to note that the benefits of the  OnePlus  8T Concept are not merely aesthetic, since the changing cover is accompanied by mmWave wave detection technology  . Thanks to the use of a special sensor, it is possible for the device to receive and process signals closely. 

One of the most interesting applications of mmWave technology   is the registration of respiration , which enables the  OnePlus  8T Concept to change color in sync with the user, making it a kind of biofeedback device  .

Additionally , the ECMF can be used to create brilliant colors during an incoming call, acting as an innovative notification medium. In combination with gesture control technology, users can reject or accept such calls without having to touch the mobile at any time, which in turn opens up many possibilities. 

The  OnePlus  8T Concept has been developed with great care by the  OnePlus  Gaudí team , but like the Concept  One , we do not expect to see it on public sale, since it is precisely a concept prototype / device.
