We recently told you about the  OnePlus Nord and now it’s evolution, the OnePlus Nord CE . We are facing a smartphone with dimensions of  159.2 x 73.5 x 7.9 mm and a weight of  170 grams , made with a glass front and plastic materials in both the frame and the back. This point is probably starting to throw you back a bit, but we do not want you to give it up without knowing it more. It is true that they could have been a little more careful in the materials section and that this can penalize you a lot, but it is also true that it has the price that it has, in part, for this cut. And, hey, for anyone who wants a solvent 5G mobile with a good price, it is not a bad idea.

As you can see in the image above, the design of this model is quite beautiful, with finishes in  blue, black and silver (you will find them with the official names of Blue Void, Charkoal Ink and Silver Ray). In the back we find the cameras arranged vertically and the logo in the central part. On the front, the absence of frames and its perforated camera in the upper left corner stand out.

OnePlus has endowed this new model with a  6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED screen with 1,080 x 2,400 px resolution, 20: 9 ratio and 410 ppi pixel density. The body / screen ratio is 84.9%. The result is a screen with a very good quality, both indoors and outdoors and with vivid colors. It is especially relevant to mention that the  fingerprint sensor is under the screen .

In the performance section, the Snapdragon 750G 5G processor stands out  , built in 8 nanometers and with eight cores, divided into two clusters, one of 2 x 2.2 GHz and the other of 6 x 1.8 GHz. Among processors we have already seen it in other smartphones, like the Xiaomi Mi 10i or the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G. Its GPU, meanwhile, is an  Adreno 619 .

On the other hand, it should be noted that it comes in several configurations:  6 GB + 128 GB / 8 GB + 128 GB / 12 GB + 256 GB . Be careful , because it  does not have a memory card slot , so be careful and choose the memory you need well.

It is a smartphone that, without being the most powerful on the market, is able to keep up with your pace in both productivity and games, handles multitasking well and you shouldn’t experience lags or hangs.

OnePlus Nord CE 5G camera, does it live up to what we expect?

It depends. And we want to make this very clear since, although the camera of this OnePlus Nord CE 5G is quite interesting, of course it does not reach the height of other models that are worth double or triple the money. So with that cleared up, what else can we say about her? We have, on the back, a triple camera of  64 MP f / 1.8 (wide) + 8 MP f / 2.3 (ultra wide angle) + 2 MP f / 2.4 (depth) . Video recording reaches  4K @ 30fps . For its part, the front has a 16 MP  lens  with f / 2.5  aperture  and video recording at  1080p @ 30/60 fps.

As you can see, they are cameras that do not stand out today, especially if we look for certain added features such as a very top portrait mode or a heart attack night mode. But they do fulfill their role very well if what we want is a solvent camera for the day to day that gives us good results.

Connectivity, battery and software

But without a doubt where this smartphone stands out the most is in its connectivity, especially considering the budget in which we move. Its most outstanding value is its  5G connectivity and its support for  dual SIM , but it also has  NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi ac, GPS, headphone jack … It does not lack detail.

As for its battery, it is charged via  USB Type C  and has  a fast charge of 30W . According to manufacturer data, it can charge 70% of its 4,500 mAh capacity  in just 30 minutes.

Finally, we highlight, as we have already advanced at the beginning of this article, that it comes with the OxygenOS 11.0.2.2 customization layer  , based on Android 11.
